This is my Exodus

8.29.25

“Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.” —Exodus 40:34

Today, on my 39th birthday, I see my life through the lens of Exodus. For the past three years, I’ve walked through my own Egypt. A place of drama, grief, heartbreak, betrayal and lessons that cut deep but just as God led Israel out, He has led me out. I am no longer a slave to what was. Today I can boldly say: this is my Exodus.

Just as the Israelites, freshly freed, were called to prepare the Tabernacle, God has been preparing me. Piece by piece, He’s been shaping me with patience, obedience, forgiveness, holiness and worship. He’s been teaching me to give Him my heart willingly, to offer my gifts as service and to trust Him with the details of my life.

Now, standing at the threshold of 40, I feel the shift: I’m not just leaving Egypt…I’m stepping into the season where His glory fills the house. Just like the cloud covered the Tabernacle, His presence is covering me. His Spirit is my guide for what’s next whether in love, business or ministry.

So today, I don’t just celebrate my birthday. I celebrate my Exodus. Egypt is behind me. God’s presence is before me and the best is yet to come, because my story is no longer marked by pain, it’s marked by His glory.

Love Always,

Ashley
